Vila Galé Albacora is a 4-star resort, set in a rehabilitated tuna fishing camp amongst Ria Formosa Natural Park. It is close to the Island of Tavira and a 15-minute drive from Faro Airport. The property offers free WiFi.

What was the highlight of Vila Gale Albacora
Loved it
The room was very nice with plenty space, great matress on a double bed (quite rare nowadays). Bathroom more than adequate. Breakfast was varied with plenty to choose from . The location is quite beautiful as it was an old fishing village transformed into a hotel. And it is in the middle of a bird santuary and salinas(the process of taking salt from the sea)
I cannot think of anything that we did not like. The wether was not at its best but it is autumn.

What was the highlight of Vila Gale Albacora
Excelente choice for traveling with kids.
The resort style of this property is perfect for families looking for hassle free vacation or quoth kids. The kids pool is great which together with daily kids activities make this a perfect choice. The hotel has a dedicated pier that takes you to the beach . You should consider having a all inclusive rate , as currently lunch is not available. A bar is open with good options, by buffet lunch with be better.
Only two things. Our stay had some hot days which attached a lot os bees. The hotel has very nice gardens but the floater species must be changed. Some days there were a lot of bees close To the kids pool. The second point was the fact that we had to ask 4 times to get a third towel ( since we were three) which is a vir annoying for a 4* hotel. Besides everything was great .

Very Good
A very good 2 days. Liked the setting & a la carte menu excellent - we didn't terribly like the look of the evening buffet. Evening entertainment very good as well. Boat to Ilha Tavira good
The rooms were slightly dated & and old-fashioned but perfectly adequate. Pool music rather too loud
